1. Post-Confirmation
Programming: Tom reported it is
still being decided.
2. Youth
Group Sr. High Youth Rally: very
positive experience with approximately 20 youth attending, transportation was
shared with Chokio and Herman.
3. LIFE Night Video Series: Tom reported hearing very positive
responses.
1. Tabled until December meeting.
2. Confirmation was held Saturday,
November 17 at 5:00 p.m. Very positive comments were heard,
beautiful celebration with Bishop Kinney.
3. Faith Formation
Survey: Tom reported he will send
the survey out in December and will report on results at the January, 2008 meeting.
4. Junior High Youth Rally: is taking place in January
5. Community Service Program: Tom reported they hope to join with Chokio/Herman to
participate in a community service project.
Pastor: Fr. John commented on how well
Confirmation went, the Bishop was very
impressed
at how well the students were prepared.

Report
1. Jennifer reported that due to the
weather, last minute changes had to be made to the All School Field Trip, but
everyone had a great time.
2. National Young Readers Day: three mystery readers and also readers
read in each classroom, students came in pajamas and all enjoyed the day.
3. SWELL: grades k, 2 and 7 visited over the past month and was
enjoyed by all.
4. Grandparents Day: went very well, the students sang
beautifully and we had a wonderful turnout of grandparents and special friends. Scholastic book fair was a huge
success; we were able to select around $1,500 in books. Jennifer also reported having a number
of great helpers for this event.
5. Lawn cleanup: the students worked very hard for an hour on Oct. 26 to
clean up the Church and school lawns.
6. The staff had a very informative
training session in PKU.
7. A speaker came in and talked with the faculty about RTI
(Response to Intervention).
We
will be doing much more research in this area because it is a new way of
identifying and intervening with students who are struggling. It should be very beneficial when it is
all set.
8. Jennifer reported she has been in
contact with the MAES principal and working on perfecting the dismissal procedure.
9. Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center: is scheduled for January 14-18, 2008,
approximately 11 adults are planning to attend this year.
10. Parade of Lights: Jennifer reported a great number of volunteers working on
the float, and it is great to see everyone coming together.
11. Jennifer shared a letter from Sixth Grade Teacher;
Tricia Rohloff is requesting seven additional maternity leave days, which would
be unpaid.
Julie Kill reported several children gathered and
participated in the Parade of Lights, the potluck was well attended and thee
was plenty to eat.
Pancake breakfast and bake sale will be December 2.
Preparations have begun for the Christmas Reception on
December 20th, classroom partners will be asked to find volunteers.
Celebration for Education: it appears that work is moving along smoothly on this
project.
Benefits: Mike reported the committee had met
with all full time staff, noting same concerns were heard from all.
Finance: Jennifer and Brian are working on a
salary schedule and will communicate this with the staff.
Maintenance: Mike reported the fire alarm assessment
has been scheduled, changing coat hooks will be looked into.

overall scores were very good.
